About this event

Another weekly installment watching the leaves gradually change color on the Hunterdon Plateau. One easily doable climb to the top and everyone has been enjoying the scenery and peace & quiet, save for the friendly chit-chat. The average pace is about 8mph on the initial climb and about 12.5 to 13mph over the entire route. We will stop to regroup as needed. No one dropped, but we will try to maintain the paces as advertised. Make sure yer bike is in good shape.

The facilities at the Flemington Raritan Baseball Complex at the start are closed. Wawa on Rt. 31 is your best bet for a pit stop before you arrive at the Complex. Bring plenty of drinks & nutrition, there are no food stores on this route. The rest stop at the Kingwood Township Park around mile 17 has public bathrooms and picnic tables. Back in Flemington, are all manner of places for food, coffee & beers.
