What?
Set a cycling goal and ride one of our beautiful tours with your friends. We are offering five road tours: 25, 35, 45, 70, and 100 miles, all with well stocked rest stops.
You can register for one tour and ride another on the day of the event. As road construction and other events can occur between now and June, we don’t issue detailed route information until quite close to the ride date. Check back later in the spring.
The Ramble is a charity ride benefiting local volunteer EMS squads and bike related charities including the Boys and Girls Club Bike Exchange, Girls in Gear, Avenues in Motion, Nica, and more.
Where?
All rides will be starting at Drew University in Madison, NJ. Drew University is easy to get to by bike, car, or train from NY Penn Station, Newark or any stop on the Morristown Line. Drive time from Philadelphia is only 1 hour 45 minutes; from Stamford, CT it’s only 1 hour 30 minutes; from the Delaware Water Gap it’s only 54 minutes.
Set in the beautiful counties of Morris, Somerset and Hunterdon New Jersey, Revolutionary Ramble brings riders through countryside that is rich with history. You’ll enjoy the views of centuries old farmlands dating back to the original settlers of New Jersey. Some points of interest that you’ll pass include original structures and battlefields from the Revolutionary War, and other points of New Jersey historical significance.
When?
The Ramble offers fully supported cycling over beautiful terrain with routes for all abilities. Featuring SAG* support, bike-riding course marshals, mechanics for minor repairs, well stocked rest stops, and a post-ride lunch. Our photographers post their photos for free downloads after the ride.
