Croton Dam 55 C/D 2-4

About this event

A very scenic ride over the Tappan Zee bridge and onwards and upwards to the Croton Dam. On the way we will visit the lighthouse in Sleepy Hollow, Lots of stops for pictures on this no drop ride. There is about a mile of gravel at the dam to descend to the bottom. Road bikes abound but you may want to walk this section. On the return leg we will have about 10 miles on the paved North County Trailway.
Option to cycle to Piermont after the ride for food/drink (8 miles round trip). Piermont is a beautiful village best seen by bike (especially the historic pier), so I hope we will have energy to cycle there.
