About this event
Road ride with Hiking, Cycling, Kayaking Meetup group:
Cycling through the mountains and lakes of Morris county
Elevation: rolling hills up to 10% grade.
Recommended Bike: Road or Hybrid
Speed: 10-12+ mph moving average.
We will stop for breaks for hydration, scenery, photography, eating and other bodily functions.
Experience level: This ride is for riders that have good road riding skill, comfort and experience and are able to go the distance.
Rain will postpone event
Must Haves:
Bike in good condition,
Helmet,
Front and rear lights are recommended
Sufficient hydration liquid (1L5+ L recommended). There will be places to refill along the way.
Appropriate clothing,
Sun tan lotion
Willingness to overcome any fears of climbing ....always worth it at the top...rewarded with beautiful descents
