Join us for Smart Cycling (formerly Traffic Skills 101). This course is a fast-paced class that provides cyclists with the confidence to ride safely and legally in traffic or on the trail. We will cover the basics of bike maintenance, rules of the road, on-bike skills, and crash avoidance techniques. The workshop will start in the classroom for discussion about safe riding techniques, then we head to the parking lot to practice some on-bike skills. We will finish the workshop with a ride on local roads.

You will learn how to:
Perform a bike safety check before each ride
Properly fit your bike helmet
Start riding efficiently
Stop with control
Ride in a straight line
Identify hazards
Ride in proper lane position
Communicate effectively with others on the road

What to bring:
Bike in good working order
Bike Helmet
Clothes suitable for that days weather
Water Bottle

All other class materials, snacks, and water will be provided for you.
This class is a prerequisite for becoming a certified League Cycling Instructor from the League of American Bicyclists, and will be taught by League Cycling Instructors Kevin Smith and Christopher Gonda.

Pace C 25 miles 3/4 terrain 9 AM start Meet at Bordentown Regional HS, corner of Ward Ave. and Hogback Rd., Bordentown.

Take a ride to New Egypt to the monthly all you can eat breakfast. If the weather is Indian Summer-like and we are in agreement, we could add about 4 miles onto the trip to do rail trail underpass inspection (Union Transportation Rail Trail at Rt. 537).

Directions: NJ Tpk. south to exit 7. Proceed north on US Rt. 206. It joins US Rt. 130 north. Turn right at Ward Ave., at the Town & Country Diner. Go towards Crosswicks. In about a mile, the school entrance will be on the left.

Open to all Zwift riders Pace A, B, C, D, E (Zwift allows for all riders to stay together as long as you pedal)
Ride is not distance but time for at least 1 hour
This ride format in Zwift allows for no drop rides no matter what your level or strength or ability as long as you keep pedaling.

This ride will be mostly flat and thru Watopia. We can decide to change things up as we progress.
So for the next couple rides I like to do them as what Zwift calls a Cycling Meetup. so if you‘d like to participate I will do that but you will need to contact me with your Zwift name so I can create a meetup and invite you. I will do this ride Saturday and set it up. I will send you a Cycling Meetup Request if you call or text me. I prefer you text me your Zwift name so I can invite you. This ride will be a no drop ride where we stay together thru Watopia. any question contact me at 732-597-0399 Todd

I would like to schedule a pancake breakfast ride for as many 2nd Sun. of the month as I am able to be there. The season runs from Nov. to May.
Best Little Pancake Breakfast in Upper Black Eddy 26 miles D pace flat to slightly rolling terrain 9 AM start Park at Bull‘s Island State Park, Rt. 29.

Join your fellow club members along with friends from WJW on a joint ride to the Pancake Breakfast in Upper Black Eddy. Take a picturesque ride along both sides of the Delaware River, possibly viewing the last of the fall foiliage and definitely attending the first Upper Black Eddy Pancake Breakfast of the cold weather season.

Leader: Dan Rappoport 609 924 9417 609 933 6258

P. S. I would encourage faster ride leaders to post rides that are faster or more difficult. Let‘s rendezvous at the fire house!
