Guest speaker Jean Walsh.
Jean lives in Oakland, California where she cycles for recreation and transportation. She has completed several multiple day bike touring trips and her bike is her main form of transportation, as she doesn't own a car. Jean is active in biking and walking advocacy groups and was recently elected to the board of directors for AC Transit, a large transit operator serving the East Bay region. She will speak on efforts to improve conditions for people biking, walking and taking public transportation, as well as some of her biking adventures!
